Privacy policy

KV Stores Digital (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you buy from kvstores.in, why, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do. It follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

You don’t need an account to buy. We collect only what we need for an order:

Email address and phone number: you type them into Razorpay’s payment window, and Razorpay shares them with us after payment.
Order details: what you bought, the price, discount code, date, and Razorpay’s order and payment reference numbers.
Business details, only if you give them: business name and GSTIN, for a GST invoice.
Download records: how many times your download link was used.
Messages you send us, if you email us.

We do not collect or see your card, UPI or bank details. Those stay with Razorpay. The shop doesn’t use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. Our servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for a short time, to keep the site secure and running.

Why we use it

to deliver your files: emailing your download link and checking the link’s limits;
to help you when you contact us, and to process refunds;
to keep records the law requires (for example tax and accounting);
to prevent fraud and abuse.

We don’t send marketing emails, and we never sell or rent your data.

Only the service providers we need to run the shop, and only for that purpose:

Razorpay, which takes payments;
Google (Gmail), which sends our emails;
Amazon Web Services (Mumbai, India), which hosts our server and database;
Cloudflare, which hosts the website and protects it.

We may also share data if the law requires it, for example with tax authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for 8 years, as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Download links stop working after 30 days. Emails you send us are kept while we help you and then deleted when no longer needed, unless they’re part of an order record.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you;
correct it if it’s wrong;
delete it, where the law doesn’t require us to keep it;
withdraw consent for anything that relies on consent.

Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data travels over HTTPS. Our database isn’t reachable from the internet, files are only available through private, expiring links, and only the shop owner can sign in to the dashboard.

Children

The shop is for adults. If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to buy for you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date above.
